Vaidya (Dr.) Amit S Chaudhari is the founder and chief consultant in Vedansh Āyurveda. He is passionate about Āyurveda and has been practicing it for more than a decade.

Āyurveda cannot be learned from books alone. It is a science which is passed from one expert to another in a Guru-Shishya parampara (teacher-disciple tradition).
After his final year of graduation, he went as an observer at respected Vaidya P.T. Joshi’s (Nana Joshi) in Dhule for a month . During his time there, he witnessed the exceptional diagnosis and treatment skills of Vaidya Joshi and his patients’ appreciation for him. Alongwith his post graduation he worked as an Assistant Vaidya with eminent Vaidya Rasik Pawaskar, Pune for over 4 years.
After learning Āyurveda and other allied systems of traditional Indian healthcare like Yoga, Spirituality, etc in depth, he was completely convinced that no single medicine system by itself is enough to prevent and cure all the diseases afflicting humanity in this modern life. He thought, there has to be a health science delivery system which provides appropriate medication at the right stage of disease and for the right purpose to gain optimum health.
He gives prime importance to prevention of diseases and maintaining health by following proper diet and lifestyle regime along with periodic detoxification or cleansing.
He believes that medicines cannot cure a patient in isolation. He treats patients after in-depth understanding of history and one-on-one counselling.
He has worked with many Āyurveda experts across India. He has extensively studied human physiology and psychology which is the root cause of many a psycho-somatic illnesses.
He practices and preaches enjoying the simple pleasures of life. To achieve this, as rightly stated in Āyurveda it is essential that one should have good physical health and positive thoughts in mind. This art is what he wishes to teach his patients as well as to the community.
